BEHIND THE SCHOOL SCENES15 January 2021 (by admin) |
Lots going on in schools up and down the country (and no doubt lots going on in homes as well) as people come to terms with recent and ongoing lockdown events.
In school today the SMT team met to discuss how we're currently doing as a school during lockdown, how our DB Primary remote learning platform is working, how can reach out further to parents and to our wonderful children etc. IT'S A DAILY CHALLENGE FOR US ALSO as it is for every educational establishment in the country.
Next week we see FSM FOOD VOUCHER rolled out so check your daily email in-tray (check every day). This is HOT OFF THE PRESS NEWS from the Government - NO FOOD BAG COLLECTIONS WILL TAKE PLACE ON THE SCHOOL PREMISES.
Next week we continue to support families with wellbeing phone calls - Mr O'Leary/Mr Stephenson/Mrs Robinson might just give you a ring.
Next week we continue to DB 'it' and some schools have asked us for details of this and how we do it because the St. Bernard's DB school platform is making a daily difference.
Next week we continue to support some of our critical worker children on the school site - what teaching staff complete and teach in school is what goes on the DB learning class zone.
Next week we continue to support families who are having major connectivity issues and can't access our remote learning service.
Next week, if you want to phone us because you need to talk, please do!
Have a enjoyable family weekend, try to switch off and spend as much relaxing family time together as possible. Keep following the lockdown rules and STAY SAFE!
