Most of you will be well aware that there is a huge complex of flats/apartments being built as part of the new CARE HOME project at the bottom of the Wake Green Road (opposite Springfield Road). The project is due to last for a significant amount of time.
A and H Construction Development PLC are the company behind this vast complex and their work is in full swing.
Of course when St. Bernard's school is back in full operation with ALL the children back the building work will obviously impact significantly on transport/traffic congestion, parking and more importantly, pedestrian pathways.
Some of you may well be walking past this complex on your daily exercise so please be extra vigilant because construction lorries delivering bulk material, concrete and construction machines and tools will be driving in and out of the complex.
It does worry us so please please be extra careful. When ALL of our children are back we will do our best to send our safety messages regularly because this building development will, at times, impact on travelling to and from school. The site planners have already put in an application to restrict parking along that side of the Wake Green Road so no vehicles can park there.
