It's IMPORTANT to know what's going on in your area regarding COVID because being VIGILANT is still as important as ever.

We are in regular correspondence with local schools and also make sure we look at the local statistics concerning covid issues. Some schools have had to partially close for isolation purposes due to staffing issues related to covid and also rising cases of children testing positive.
The BBC report this morning that, 'Currently 279,000 children are at home because they have had close contact with an infected person in school' - Thursday 1st July 2021.
It has been a while since we have had to send children home/year group bubbles home. However, we MUST remain vigilant at all times because it can still happen that we have to send children/year groups home to isolate. PLEASE REMEMBER THIS AND BE PREPARED THAT IT COULD HAPPEN BEFORE THE END OF TERM - it will unfortunately be disruptive (as it has been for parents and families in local schools).
