INSPIRE SESSIONS SOON & mitigation of risk16 September 2021 (by admin) |
They're coming to a school near you and it's all about KEEPING YOU FULLY IN THE EDUCATIONAL PICTURE - focusing on READING & GENERAL EXPECTATIONS. Also, covid-19 is still in the national picture, so help us to help all the children in our care.
INSPIRE sessions are an opportunity to come to school and listen to the class teacher talk about EDUCATIONAL STRATEGIES - working in partnership with parents to get the best possible outcomes for the children.
Please REMEMBER that in school we still very much are aware of mitigation of risk when it comes to covid-19 (it obviously hasn't gone away and is still very much in the local and national/global news).
Therefore...
INSPIRE SESSIONS are now individual class INSPIRE meetings (not just for a whole year group). We've timetabled in x14 class meetings now instead of the usual x7 year group meetings. Less people/adults in the school hall.
Class teaching staff will present INSPIRE SESSIONS from the front of the lower hall - it's not about staff moving from table to table. Movement around the school hall is kept to an absolute minimum. WE ask you NOT to bring toddlers - please arrange suitable childcare arrangements. We ask that you wear a face covering/mask (again it's all about mitigation of risk). Again, hand sanitisers are stationed at the front entrance on your arrival so please use them accordingly. It's about mitigation of risk - part of our operational planning.
School is doing its very best to fully involve and work in partnership with parents - covid circumstances are still difficult however and the SWAY NEWSLETTER keeps you FULLY IN THE COVID PICTURE with links to the latest guidance. We're still trying to keep the operational side of school life running smoothly and INSPIRE SESSIONS are part of our ongoing agenda.
See you next week for our initial individual class meetings.
