We mentioned it yesterday BUT want to stress the significant disruption that will be caused by the forthcoming ROAD CLOSURE, on a section of the WAKE GREEN ROAD. We received confirmation today that the closure will be in place from FRIDAY 5th November.
It is due to last approximately 2 to 3 weeks.
It will have a major knock-on effect across the local area. PLEASE PLAN your route ACCORDINGLY.
It will be the section near the entrance to the construction site on the Wake Green Road/near Springfield Rd, Green Road - the closure will continue for a distance (down the Wake Green Road).
A temporary footpath will be made available by the construction company. The section closed will mean NO VEHICLES can pass through.
WE STRONGLY ADVISE YOU PARK MUCH FURTHER AWAY FROM THE SCHOOL SITE and WALK YOUR CHILD TO SCHOOL.
