The Takeover Challenge for Y6 puts children and young people into real-life decision-making positions in organisations (our school family organisation).

Children gain a valuable insight and gain experience of a workplace, while organisations benefit from a fresh perspective on their work.

In school on Friday 12th November, YEAR 6 children (who recently applied for staff positions and have actually been interviewed by the school council team) will shadow staff members, lead, manage and teach (and learn from the takeover, vocational experience!).

Good luck to all the YEAR 6 'mini-staff takeover children' - tomorrow we'll have a mini-head teacher, mini-deputy head, mini-office staff team, mini-buildings supervisor, mini-dinner staff, mini-classroom staff etc. It's about enriching the experiences of our wonderful children.
