We are a SPOTLIGHT on ATTENDANCE Birmingham Authority school.

We make phone calls to parents, we send letters to parents, we make announced and sometimes unannounced home visits to parents. We will make first day contact (if we don't hear from you about your child's absence).

It's all part of our school safeguarding agenda. Please note that we will also support as and when necessary, meet with parents and fully assist in making sure your child's attendance is good. NOTE ALSO THAT IF ATTENDANCE IS AN ONGOING CONCERN, THE AUTHORITY WILL TAKE ACTION and THE EDUCATION LEGAL TEAM WILL BE INVOLVED - THEY ISSUE PENALTY NOTICES/FINES etc.
