Over 400 children filed sensibly and quietly from designated exit points around school and lined up in total silence today. Teaching staff checked registers and the school building was checked accordingly.

A purposeful and well executed second FIRE DRILL of the school year. 

We have also challenged the children to discuss safety 'in and around' the home environment. As a family it's good to talk about safety and how to quickly leave the home premises if it was needed (not to scaremonger at all but good to know just incase).

STAY SAFE ST. BERNARD'S (next week we will be conducting a whole school LOCKDOWN drill). We'll keep you posted.
