YOUR MENTAL HEALTH & YOUR CHILD'S MENTAL HEALTH...MATTERS TO US - it affects everyone.
Year 6 explored the MIND, MINDSET, GROWTH MINDSET, PSYCHOLOGY of the MIND, MENTAL HEALTH, POSITIVITY, EMOTIONAL WELLBEING, THE ROLLERCOASTER of EMOTIONS...
Their mental health MATTERS to US.
Mrs Kendrick, Mr Foley and Dr Lucy Maddox took Y6 on a 'journey of the mind' because MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS is about taking ownership of your own mental health AND IMPORTANTLY, LOOKING OUT FOR OTHERS! They found out all about the brain, development of the brain and strategies to cope with PROBLEMS and the 'ups and downs' of life...
Dr Lucy (Psychologist) spent the afternoon on a LIVE ZOOM SESSION with Y6 and said, 'It's OK not be OK sometimes'
ITS A LESSON FOR US ALL...if you need to talk to someone, pick up the phone and talk. If you are concerned about your child's mental health, talk to us.
