Now, there are other MAJOR NEWS EVENTS available 24/7 that children get to read about, hear about and discuss. They may hear 'terminology and terms' that they ponder on, contemplate deeply and it can impact significantly on their mental health.

Current events in Ukraine or further afield can be daunting and worrying for small minds (let alone adults!). Extremely difficult to comprehend and certainly difficult to watch on the TV outlets.

NEWSROUND is a child-friendly NEWS OUTLET that you may well be familiar with. We have been using it with some of our children because it's about talking and listening to their worries, comments and concerns.

Simply click on the link below (or put it into Google) because it gives helpful tips and advice on CURRENT GLOBAL AFFAIRS related to events in the Ukraine. You may want to look at it with your child later.

If your child is noticeably worried, finding it difficult to express how they are feeling or generally upset about current events, it's perfectly understandable. Just let us know and we'll do our very best to help out and support - every little helps!
