Mother's Day is a celebration honouring the mother of the family or individual, as well as motherhood, maternal bonds, and the influence of mothers in society.
It is celebrated on different days in many parts of the world, most commonly in the months of March or May.
We especially think of Mary - Hail Mary.
Mary is the Mother of every domestic church, of every Christian family - Mary is present in the Church as the Mother of Christ.
Spend a little family time today to pray with her. For some families, it's about thinking of their parent, their mother who has sadly passed away but remains forever in their hearts.
