You need to let us know because EVERY LITTLE HELPS - FSM entitlement impacts significantly on the school budget. REMEMBER, EVERY LITTLE HELPS!
It's about encouraging families to complete the online application form in case some FSM families are missing out please. Are you missing out?
Additional funding for school from free school meal entitlement (FSM)
Dear parents/ guardians,
I am asking all families who are entitled to claim benefits to please visit the school website and submit an online application for free school meals as this makes a difference to the School Budget funding.
The eligibility not only allocates a meal for your child but also gives additional funding (Pupil Premium) into the School Budget. This funding will be used towards teaching and learning intervention, booster classes etc.
Since September 2014 children in Reception, Year 1 or Year 2 are automatically entitled to a free school meal. If you are in receipt of one of the above benefits, we strongly recommend that you still apply. This will mean your child's school does not miss out on important funding. It may also mean your child will continue to receive free meals after the end of Year 2.
PLEASE DO NOT REAPPLY IF YOU HAVE ALREADY COMPLETED THE FORM AND WERE ELIGIBLE
EVERY LITTLE HELPS - the difference this can make is significant to the school budget. PLEASE VISIT THE SCHOOL WEBSITE.
