We have mentioned this issue a few times (too many times really) but it is AN IMPORTANT point to make because the safety of children is of course our and your ongoing priority.
DO NOT USE THE STAFF CAR PARK to park your vehicle.
DO NOT SIMPLY DROP YOUR CHILD OFF OUTSIDE THE SCHOOL ENTRANCE GATES and LET THEM RUN FREELY, INDEPENDENTLY into the staff car park area. IT IS CLEARLY NOT SAFE!
A couple of near-misses have been noticed and again we reiterate the message, DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES let your child/children run into the staff car park. DO NOT USE THE STAFF CAR PARK to drop off/pick up children.
Of course it's convenient and much quicker to use but we have over 295+ families at St. Bernard's. What will it take for certain parents to stop abusing this request? WE DON'T WANT AN ACCIDENT involving a child. This is unthinkable and completely unnecessary - do not put any child's safety at risk please. It is that serious, so again, WE ASK THAT NO UNAUTHORISED CAR/VEHICLE be driven into the staff parking zone and certainly DO NOT LET YOUR CHILD RUN INTO THE STAFF PARKING ZONE.
