SCHOOL NURSE VISITS YEAR 6 - personal hygiene talk and discussion

    30 June 2022 (by admin)

Our SCHOOL NURSE visited today and talked to the Y6 children about GOOD HYGIENE HABITS. It's all part of their transition to secondary school - learning more about their bodies and the importance of maintaining good hygiene habits.

The school nurse was very impressed with all the children and their maturity. Some interesting questions and detailed answers.

Please note also that headlice also needs to be noted regards good personal hygiene habits.

The following website gives lots of key information regards this topic.

Occasionally, we do get cases of headlice in and around school and it's good to remind parents to check, check, check their child's scalp often. A good tip from the school nurse is checking out the website address in this message.

    Thank you parents.
