SCHOOL ATTENDANCE MATTERS (it matters every single day!)

Whole school attendance for this week was 97% (continues to be above the fft primary school national attendance statistics).

Year groups winning attendance extra break will be YEAR 4 and YEAR 5 - combined approx 99% weekly attendance. EXTRA BREAK for these classes/year groups - YIPPEE!
Don't forget to remind your teaching staff children - EXTRA BREAK beckons for YEAR 4 & YEAR 5 children.
If your child is absent from school for unauthorised periods of time, expect us to call and visit. Of course we fully understand there are genuine reasons for school pupil absence but if we are not kept fully informed, school will act accordingly. If we are concerned about your child's attendance, the school will not hesitate to involve the authority Education Legal Team - the ELT work closely with St. Bernard's monitoring pupil attendance. IT'S ALL ABOUT YOUR CHILD because GOOD ATTENDANCE MATTERS.
