This year’s World Book Day takes place on Thursday 2nd March. We have decided to take a cross-curricular approach and have chosen to study a high quality SCIENCE text throughout the school.
Our chosen text is called ‘The Most Important Animal of All’. This high quality text contains a strong science link which we hope the children will find engaging.
Therefore, this year we are inviting the children to come to school dressed as an animal of their choice. However, please do not feel that you need to go and buy expensive outfits, you could create an eco-friendly outfit with your child from recycled materials. Equally, the children are welcome to come to school in their sleepy pyjamas!
Once again, we will also be joined by our wonderful scholastic book fair. The book fair will arrive on Thursday 2nd March and will stay in school until Thursday 9th March. Please come to the hall after school and see which books are on offer!
