It is going to be a very special day in school on FRIDAY 5th MAY - our CORONATION CELEBRATIONS 2023! What will your child wear? Think RED, WHITE, BLUE...THINK ROYALTY!
As the historic coronation of King Charles III approaches, the school council has been discussing ways to mark the event. They have been considering aspects of our school motto:
‘One Family’ – As the King represents Britain and the Commonwealth, his coronation reminds us we are not just a St Bernard’s family, but also part of a local, national and international family.
As ONE FAMILY, we want to recognise this significant event and MARK IT with a RIGHT ROYAL FRIDAY 5th MAY celebration day.
You can come to school DRESSED as a KING, QUEEN, PRINCE, PRIINCESS...
You can come to school draped in RED, WHITE and BLUE...
Or just wear RED, WHITE and BLUE...
START THINKING, START THINKING ROYALTY...dress up, dress royal and be proud!
It will also be a fish n chip FRIDAY celebration event (with some traditional frozen ice-cream scooped in for dessert!). More CORONATION dinner details to follow.
