Y1 WELLBEING CLUB has finished12 July 2023 (by admin) |
The WELLBEING after school club has now finished for the school year. This Y1 club has been extremely beneficial to children who have attended. Thank you to staff for being involved with this club and giving up their time to run it.
What is mental wellbeing?
“A state of well-being in which every individual realises his or her own potential, can cope with the normal stresses of life, can work productively and fruitfully, and is able to make a contribution to her or his community.” World Health Organisation (WHO), 2014
At St. Bernard's Catholic Primary School, we believe that the mental wellbeing of our pupils is absolutely key to developing happy, inquisitive learners who are able to face challenges in a positive and proactive way.
Our daily interactions with our children are vitally important, and our ever-changing and evolving school curriculum also aims to impact significantly on the wellbeing of children in our care.
Remember our school website has NUMEROUS links to wellbeing...BECAUSE IT IS A DAILY RELATIONSHIP (WHETHER ADULT OR CHILD) THAT WE HAVE WITH OUR OWN MENTAL HEALTH AND GENERAL WELLBEING. If you need a little help or someone to talk with...check out the link. Every little helps!
