Y6 off to NEW HORIZONS 202316 July 2023 (by admin) |
Our Y6 children have a very special final week ahead...
They are so looking forward to performing on Thursday morning. The Y6 LEAVING ASSEMBLY, including the magnificent PIRATES of the CURRYBEAN, takes place on Thursday morning. It's all about 'AHOY THERE me shipmates' and a 'HO, HO, HO! Shiver me TIMBERING TIMBERS!'
Spiritually, we are all praying for them as they journey to the wonderful Sacrament of Confirmation. A special Wednesday evening Mass this week, sees them confirm their faith and receive the gifts and fruits of the Holy Spirit. It will be a very special moment in their lives. Please pray for them.
Time flies...and for the vast majority of our Y6 children, they have been at St. Bernard's since their Reception year (the tender age of 4 or 5). For many families also, it is their final child going through the St. Bernard's ranks - a final association with the school and school family. We thank them for being a huge part of the St. Bernard's community, and thank them for their loyalty, support, partnership and challenge.
