WOW! It was such a special occasion at English Martyrs Church on Friday evening. A HUGE thank you to our staff team who were able to go along and sing their hearts out. An EVEN BIGGER THANK YOU to our wonderful CHILDREN.
Some of our children were able to attend and REPRESENT the school community also. They lifted the Church roof with their glorious singing!
It was such a marvellous, spiritually uplifting and memorable Mass.
14 CELEBRANTS...YES, 14 CELEBRANTS! Original compositions of music written especially for this 100 year celebration.
The CHURCH was filled to the rafters, the Church has had a complete refurb - it looked beautiful!
Archbishop Kevin McDonald led the CENTENARY CELEBRATION - a most wonderul experience indeed. We had retired staff members attend and parishioners who have attended English Martyrs for decades.
WELL DONE STAFF and WELL DONE CHILDREN (and of course, thank you to parents who were able to come along and support).
