We have even witnessed parents/children wait patiently, actually start to cross, and car drivers NOT NOTICING or SIMPLY BEING IGNORANT and continuing to drive. It is deeply concerning.

Please be EXTRA CAREFUL! Be mindful of holding your child and double check for cars/vehicles passing. Please speak to your child also about ROAD SAFETY. Sadly, not all drivers are considerate! I'm sure you agree with our concerns.

The local councillor, Izzy Knowles, was on the Wake Green Rd last week and I passed on our serious concerns. She was also asked to take a photograph of the crossing area because one of the metal protective barriers was clearly damaged next to the zebra crossing. She was informed again that we have NO school crossing warden.
