Your child's school attendance matters. It is our regular message of the school week, and perhaps the MOST IMPORTANT ONE.
We state it every single week - GOOD SCHOOL ATTENDANCE is SO IMPORTANT!
Whole school attendance for last week was a promising 95.5% (Reception to Year 6)
The WINING attendance EXTRA BREAK will be our YEAR 6O and YEAR 1B class STARS! Both classes achieved weekly attendance of 98%
Don't forget to remind your teaching staff children (they might forget!)
WE SAY IT REGULARLY...
If your child is absent from school for unauthorised periods of time, expect us to call and/or a home visit. Of course we fully understand there are genuine reasons for school pupil absence but if we are not kept fully informed, school has to act accordingly.
If there is an ongoing concern about your child's attendance, the Education Legal Team involve themselves with penalty notices - the ELT rightly works closely with St. Bernard's monitoring pupil attendance.
