This week we had 9 members of the St. Bernard's staff team step up to the challenge of qualifying in Paediatric and First Aid at Work qualifications. We deliberately had a mix of teaching assistants, dinner supervisors, office staff and teaching staff, therefore covering all aspects of school life and daily logistical arrangements.

The members of staff took part in a very intensive training course set by the regional SAFEAID Services Team - an excellent training resource base presented by a highly qualified and very experienced trainer.

Why do staff want to do it?

Simple, they want to do their very best to help your child and all the children in St. Bernard's, they want to help any adult on the school site, and also help their colleagues.
