We all continue to be deeply troubled, upset and angered by the horrific scenes witnessed across the world at the moment. Communities are being torn apart and people are desperately in need of help and assistance. In school we have talked to the children in assembly time about the need for prayer and togetherness. We have prayed as a school community - praying for hope and peace. It can be deeply upsetting for younger children and very hard for adults to process.

Children, parents, staff, and the wider community have been deeply affected by the devastating daily news coverage.

This week, we intend to set aside an appeal day on Wednesday 25th October to make a small difference - a day of non-uniform to raise as much money as possible, we welcome any donation. This money will be passed on to CAFOD who are working to help all those involved in this humanitarian crisis.

Over the coming weeks our children will be leading prayer services with the theme of Peace.
