HUMBLING EXPERIENCE - SCHOOL CHOIR SINGING in the COMMUNITY today

    7 December 2023 (by admin)

Today was indeed a very special day for our amazing SCHOOL CHOIR. They preformed 3 CONCERTS around the region - performing at THE SHIRES RESIDENCY, MOSELEY HALL HOSPITAL, and ASHLEY LODGE RETIREMENT HOME.

Christmas carols lifted the spirits of the local residents, there were even tears shed by many of the pensioners as they joined in with the traditional festive songs.

It was certainly a memorable afternoon - one the children and staff will not forget!

St. Bernard's school choir...MAKING a DIFFERENCE to so many people this afternoon.

BIG THANK YOU to our AMAZING FESTIVE CHILDREN who performed so confidently. It was certainly a challenge for them, not easy at times, but their voices MADE A SIGNIFICANT DIFFERENCE to so many of our elderly neighbours.

Thank you to the staff team who organised these seasonal concerts and for leading the school community choir: Mrs. 'Silent Night' Smith, Mrs. 'Away In A Manger' Byrne, and Mrs. 'It Was On A Starry Night' Czepial (pianist).

Roll on Christmas 2024 because we have already been asked to return and SING, SING, SING!
