We thought about all the sad news we hear. We thought about all the difficult, upsetting, challenging, and unbelievably difficult news to process.

We can rightly be upset with all the dreadful news. Children openly talked about the Middle East, children talked about loss, devastation, suffering...and we all dedicated our assembly prayers to those in great need.

We talked about the message of Jesus, the GOOD NEWS and LOVE of Jesus.

We prayed for people around the world. We prayed for peace and we prayed for hope. 

We talked about the role we all have to play at St. Bernard's.

We talked about continuing to spread the GOOD NEWS of Christ. 

People, families, and whole communities need our loving prayers.

We ended assembly by talking about our important role as MINI-FAITH MODELS...going out to spread the GOOD NEWS, going out to spread TOGETHERNESS, going out to spread LOVE.
