MENTAL HEALTH MATTERS (we all have to manage our mental health)

    30 January 2024 (by admin)

Next week, school really focuses on the topic of MENTAL HEALTH, because it's part of our curriculum focus. MENTAL HEALTH is something WE ALL HAVE to MANAGE...it's important to think about it, talk about it, and manage it.

Our busy school website has numerous links that can give you more information.

Our busy school, often behind the busy school scenes, supports numerous children and their families in all matters related to mental health.

School has a school nurse (Nurse Jo) who supports across the school (she's great!).

School has a dedicated family support worker (Maria) who supports numerous individuals across the school (she's great!).

We are here to help you because that's what we do!

If you need someone to talk to, simply pick up the phone and speak to us.

    Remember...

We all have mental health, just as we all have physical health. Our mental health is how we’re feeling inside, or how we are emotionally. It’s a bit like a daily internal weather report.

Our mental health is at least as important as our physical health. It strongly affects our daily lives – how they feel to us, as well as our ability do the things we need and want to, including work, study, getting on with people and looking after ourselves and others.
