We think of our Year 6 children this week because 1st MARCH 2024 is 'secondary school offer/places day'. It will soon happen because secondary school is on the HORIZON for our wonderful Year 6 children.
They have such a busy time ahead, busy weeks and busy months and then September 2024 will soon be here!
Year 6 is about preparing them for their secondary venture, making them 'secondary ready' and parents have such a key, pivotal, and essential role to play in this.
Partnership with school is ABSOLUTELY IMPORTANT in every sense:
*school attendance in Y6 is key (it's everything in Y6!)
*preparation for Y6 SATs, so children achieve their true potential (giving it their very best!)
*supporting school with any behaviour management issues
*supporting school by attending Y6 meetings, speaking to the teacher etc.
IT IS ALL PART OF BEING SECONDARY READY!
