Vocations Sunday leads our school community into VOCATIONS WEEK. It will be a most engaging and interesting week in school. GOD'S CALLING US ALL!
So many of our wonderful parents have put themselves forward to talk to the children, possibly plant a vocational seed in their mind - all about GOD'S calling, VOCATIONAL CALLING...
We welcome some parents into school this week.
It is indeed a wonderful time to talk to children about what God might be calling them to do.
We end our very special (and different) week in school with our BIG DRESSING UP DAY on FRIDAY - VOCATIONS FRIDAY!
FRIDAY 26th APRIL - a day for your child to DRESS UP as a CAREER, A JOB, A VOCATION of their choosing. Has someone in the family inspired them? Are they proud of a certain career path their uncle or aunt took? Who do they look up to? Has a famous person inspired them? A scientist perhaps? Doctor? Religious person? Surgeon? Member of Parliament? Teacher? Business person? Police Officer? Firefighter? Author? Nurse? Social Worker? Designer? Engineer? Consultant?
Doing it different at St. Bernard's because every little vocational pathway counts in God's world!
