FIRST NEWS - it's all about READING, READING, READING

    22 April 2024 (by admin)

All about EDUCATING our YOUNG MINDS. It also includes a vast array of different vocational pathways in the different articles written within the newspaper.

First News is perfect for children age 7-14. Read it in print every week, or listen, watch and play via the First News App and Sky Kids FYI!

Learn about key world events, scientific discoveries, environmental news, entertainment, gaming and sports.

We pride ourselves on our independent, age-appropriate, non-sensationalised reporting that covers the news that matters (and not just the serious stuff!) that empowers children with an understanding of the world they’re growing up in.

Our Y6 use it in school, in class and it is the basis of lots of topical discussion points - both national and importantly, global.

Parents can subscribe to it also. It is a MOST USEFUL NEWSPAPER and ALL ABOUT KEEPING YOUNG MINDS INFORMED.

So many different competitions are also available for the children to sign up via the FIRST NEWS NEWSPAPER.

Children can even join the FIRST NEWS 'Children's Party' (general election year 2024).

The 'Children’s Party' is bringing young people together to get your voices heard about the things that matter to you.

This year, a general election will take place in the UK, and the First News Children’s Party is making sure young voices are heard by the people who will run the next government. Young people are 30% of the world’s population, but 100% of the future, so it’s really important you get your say about the issues you care about. CHECK IT OUT!
