ANOTHER BUSY WEEK AHEAD...next week (be prepared)29 June 2024 (by admin) |
The week that was, was such a busy week - so much going on last week with the rather special and uplifting RQ class assembly, whole school Mass, science visits, English Martyrs Church visits, Umberslade Adventure visit, science projects galore...
And of course the big RE Inspection process. School awaits these vitally important national & educational inspection findings and the official report will hopefully come out over the next few weeks. We just have to watch this space! At the end of the day, it's all about the educational experiences your child is getting at St. Bernard's Catholic Primary School.
And so to next week:
Sports Day is on Monday, Don't forget! KS2 children NEED A PACKED LUNCH on MONDAY.
European Championship Projects can start coming into school from next week! Don't forget children! The BIG exhibition day is Friday 5th July. Every entry receives a no-expense spared EUROS CERTIFICATE! Winning entries receive special prizes! Reception winning prize! A KS1 winning prize! A lower KS2 (Y3 & Y4) winning prize! An upper KS2 (Y5 & Y6) winning prize! WOW!
Transition Secondary Days for Y6 - these are vitally important days. First impressions count! Be on time. Be prepared. Enjoy the experience! It's about familiarisation...getting to know new friends, getting to know the secondary establishments.
Transition day for ALL pupils in St. Bernard's school itself, is on Wednesday 3rd July. All pupils get the opportunity to move classrooms, venturing into their new classroom environment in preparation for next year, and say, "Oh wow! It's you! You are my new teacher! Yippee!" It's a very special day, dedicated to building relationships.
Yes, another busy week ahead at St. Bernard's busy Catholic Primary School.
Be prepared children (because there's so much to look forward to next week!).
And finally children, because it is such a busy (BUSY) week, you don't have to come to school on THURSDAY 4th July next week. You can have the day off school! Take it as a treat! A day to finish your Euro Football Project perhaps!?
