    WHITEMOOR MEETING - THANK YOU

    27 September 2024 (by admin)

We certainly had a wonderful turn out for our Y5 RESIDENTIAL meeting this week. Thank you parents. All part of getting ready for the WHITEMOOR ADVENTURE ahead!

This trip not only allows the children to take part in outdoor and adventurous pursuits, but they also learn to deal with emotional and personal issues such as responsibility, as well as valuing and supporting the contributions of others. The children will gain a great deal from being away from home and learning to organise themselves.

It’s just as much about emotional and social intelligence as anything else! Let the adventure commence…

The cost is £150 - start paying on the MCAS app. Pay in full or pay in smaller instalments. Speak to the main school office if you have any questions.

THE RESIDENTIAL IS IN FEBRUARY 2025 - 12th to 14th (Wednesday to Friday).

“Building self-esteem. As well as the physical health benefits, school residential trips have been proven to have a positive effect on children's self-esteem and confidence levels, thereby improving their emotional health and wellbeing”

“Residential school trips are a great way for pupils to develop confidence and independence. Visiting new locations and staying away from home will help pupils gain skills, knowledge and life experience that will help them excel inside and outside of the classroom”
