Under no circumstances should the school car park area, or pavement area before the MAIN ENTRANCE SECURITY GATES, be used to drop children off. A taxi vehicle pulled up in front of the main school gates to drop children off this morning.
The vehicle then simply reversed, because it could not get past the entrance security gates, and very nearly hit one of the school children. Completely unacceptable!
Children need to dropped off further down/up the road and walked to the school gates please.
The Wake Green Rd can be a hazardous place for children, pedestrians and parents to navigate. Most roads outside school establishments are not suitable or safe AND THEREFORE REQUIRE DRIVERS TO BE ULTRA CONSIDERATE. We also don't have a crossing patrol warden and we have not had one for quite a while. Illegal and inconsiderate parking is also an ongoing issue, so we need your support and consideration.
NO vehicle, whether a taxi or other road vehicle, should use the area directly outside school as a convenient drop-off space. It is clearly DANGEROUS!
