DAY of ACTION - HAMPERS making a DIFFERENCE!

    29 November 2024 (by admin)

A HUGE thank you to all concerned. We have been inundated with kindness from children and parents - numerous food items have been put in 'class and year group' hampers. Incredible acts of generosity and community spirit.

The children have spent some of today's DAY of ACTION putting the hampers together, decorating the boxes, writing messages and thinking about those in great need.

This morning's humbling assembly was presented by the Team Leader from St. Chad's Sanctuary and the children were introduced to and listened to a short presentation by a gentleman called Michael, a refugee. His story was very emotional and the children were truly struck by the events in his life.

Once again, thank you for MAKING a DIFFERENCE. It is what we are all called to do! MAKE a DIFFERENCE as a school family and school community.
