ADVENT ASSEMBLY TIME...he is coming2 December 2024 (by admin) |
It feels different in the school hall and it certainly looks different. Advent is now. Advent is here. The ADVENT wreath is on show and the candle of HOPE has been lit. The FIRST WEEK of ADVENT. Our first assembly of ADVENT.
Purpleness is evident in school today.
Also known as the “prophecy candle,” the candle of hope for Advent assures us we can have hope that God will fulfil the prophecies declared in the Old Testament about Jesus. Hope doesn’t disappoint us.
Advent is a period of preparation and anticipation for the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ on Christmas Day.
Please pray for all the children and school community during this most special time.
WE also take our HAMPERS today to St. Chad's Sanctuary. They get loaded up and transported later today. 25 HAMPERS that will make a difference during this season of ADVENT.
