    HAVE AN ENJOYABLE CHRISTMAS BREAK

    20 December 2024 (by admin)

We wish all our families a most peaceful and prayerful Christmas holiday period. School breaks up a little earlier today at 2.45pm. Details have already been sent out accordingly.

We approach the 4th Sunday of ADVENT. School is still in full preparation for a very special birth...the coming of Jesus. We are on a journey with him...

The 4th Sunday of Advent is all about lighting the CANDLE of LOVE...

We call the Fourth Candle the “Candle of Love - the Angel's candle” and it reminds us that Jesus comes to bring LOVE to the world. Isaiah prophetically foretold, “For unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given.

    “Lord our God,
we praise you for your Son, Jesus Christ:
He is Emmanuel, the hope of the peoples,
He is the wisdom that teaches and guides us,
He is the Saviour of every nation.
    Lord God,
let your blessing come upon us
as we light the candles of our school wreath.
May the wreath and its light
be a sign of Christ’s promise to bring us salvation.
May He come quickly and not delay.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.

    Amen.”

“And in the end, everything else will turn out to be unimportant and inessential, except for this: Father, Child, and Love.” – St. (Pope) John Paul II

God bless parents. Have a loving and peaceful Christmas.
