A BIG well done to the children today because as part of our safeguarding agenda in school, we had a termly FIRE DRILL. It's about safety and wellbeing of all children and adults on the school site. An unannounced FIRE DRILL.
We immediately review any findings, any issues that may arise from having a school fire drill, and share them with stakeholders concerned. It's about your child's safety on the school premises, the safety of staff members, and visitors to the school site.
We do this every school term and talk to the children about safety in and around the school environment. You can reiterate this message also because its about working in partnership.
WELL DONE TO ALL THE CHILDREN TODAY.
A good opportunity to also talk about safety procedures at home perhaps as well. Some children might mention they took part in a school fire drill safety exercise and might ask about home safety arrangements.
