Parents, soon via the school MCAS correspondence you will receive a reminder regarding West Midlands Police and the Operation Encompass initiative.
It is all about support and safeguarding for children at St. Bernard's Catholic Primary School. Educational establishments throughout the city are involved in this initiative.
So much goes on behind the school scenes when it comes to pastoral care for our children. Part of our duty of care, is being informed by police of any safeguarding issues related to 'domestic abuse incidents' that school needs to be aware of - hence involvement with OPERATION ENCOMPASS.

SAFEGUARDING is everyone's responsibility and we do our very best to provide support and care for all children when they are in school. Every little helps!
