Apologies for any inconvenience caused. A reminder notice that St. Bernard's Catholic Primary School is CLOSED to ALL pupils today (FRIDAY). This is for HEALTH & SAFETY reasons.
Notice sent to all parents via MCAS correspondence, stated on the school website, and sent via the St. Bernard's mobile app.
Dear Parents and Guardians,
We regret to inform you that St. Bernard's will be closed (Friday 3rd October) due to a suspected gas leak on the premises. As an immediate result, we currently have no heating in school, no kitchen cooking facilities, or hot water, making it unsafe to operate as usual.
We are working closely with the relevant authorities to resolve the issue as quickly and safely as possible.
We will keep you fully updated on repair work and hope that it will be fully rectified during the day tomorrow, ready for children to return on Monday.
We apologise for the inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
The safety and wellbeing of all our pupils is of paramount importance.
