Dear parent,
Please be advised that St. Bernard's school is keeping a very close eye on local weather alerts. Note also that St. Bernard's school is in close contact with other local primary and secondary school establishments.
On grounds of health & safety, a decision about school being open or closed on Friday will be made later this evening or very early Friday morning (between 6.00am/6.30am). The school will immediately contact parents accordingly via MCAS and on the school mobile app. YOU WILL FIND OUT EITHER WAY - school open or school closed.
It is always a very difficult decision when educational establishments have to make decisions about possible school closures.
Whatever the final decision is, rest assured it will be made in the best interests of the school and local community.
