WELL DONE TO ALL OF OUR CHILDREN. We held a 'fire drill' in school this week.
The termly drills in school are essential in making sure the children know what to do (in the UK, schools must follow the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, which requires regular practice evacuations).
We do these DRILLLS so that every child and staff member knows exactly how to evacuate quickly, calmly, and safely if a real fire/emergency happens.
We also mentioned to them the importance of discussing, as a family at home, what to do if you had to evacuate your house quickly.
