News Stories LEAVING MASS for Y6 - SAYING FAREWELL - Wednesday 13th July 2022 At 9.15am on WEDNESDAY 13th JULY we celebrate our final LEAVING MASS for our Y6 family. Children have journeyed with us for many years and soon they venture to secondary pastures new... WHAT A LOVELY DAY IN SCHOOL - a busy end to a busy year! St. Bernard's BASKED in the warm weather today - a wonderful day in school... FEELING HOT, HOT, HOT...be prepared St. Bernard's! As the song goes, "Feeling hot, hot, hot!" It's HOT, HOT, HOT out there, so be prepared.
BY THE WAY...after school EVERY SINGLE DAY, ICE-COLD lollies will be sold by our PTA LOLLY LADIES - 50p a LOLLY - BARGAIN at ST. BERNARD'S! FINAL FEW WEEKS - get ready and be prepared - July 2022 Some very IMPORTANT KEY DATES for your busy end of year school and family diaries... AFTER SCHOOL CLUB - GARDENING CLUB Just a reminder that GARDENING CLUB has finished now - NO GARDENING CLUB for the rest of the term. SWIMMING POOL ON SITE - learning to swim 2022 St. Bernard's now has a portable swimming pool erected on site (we have it for the final few weeks) - it's ready to go! WEEK 1 will be for Y4 and Y6. TRANSITION DAY in ST. BERNARD'S - please note the following It's a 'kind of different day' in school today, WEDNESDAY 6th July. We are calling it 'moving on up day' and 'transition day' for our wonderful children. THEY MEET, GREET and have LESSONS with their new teacher (new teaching face). TRANSITIONS DAYS for Y6 - GOOD LUCK Year 6 will be venturing to their secondary schools very soon. As part of this process, they will actually spend x1 (or x2) days at their new school. No doubt they will be feeling a little nervous because change can be challenging and daunting. SCHOOL MASS - Wednesday 6th July 2022 cancelled Unfortunately Mass has had to be cancelled on WEDNESDAY. YEAR 6 LEAVING ARRANGEMENTS July 2022 'Adieu, adieu...parting is such sweet sorrow' - alas, we will soon wave goodbye to our YEAR 6 pupils. They will be venturing to new school horizons...
