• MONDAY 15th JULY 2024 - C'mon ENGLAND!
  The general excitement is building because of England's magnificent achievement in reaching the EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL 2024. All takes place on Sunday evening and it looks like it is going to be a very late night indeed!
• TUESDAY 16th JULY 2024 - book sale bonanza!
  The keys stage 2 children can purchase library reading books on Tuesday 16th July 2024. Yes, we have hundreds of excellent reading books (in good condition) that some children & staff will be selling.
• YEAR 6 LEAVING MASS & Y6 LEAVING ASSEMBLY PRODUCTION
  A very special week takes place next week at St. Bernard's Catholic Primary School. It is the final farewell week for our wonderful Year 6 children. They are bound for new educational horizons...secondary school establishments from September 2024.
• ACADEMIC YEAR 2024/2025
  It will soon be upon us...yes, the academic year 2024-2025. How time flies! New classes, different classrooms, some new staff, new children in our reception classes, children moving to the next year group, some children no longer at St. Bernard's...
• SCHOOL MASS TODAY at 2pm - Father Gerry celebrating Mass
  A very special school Mass takes place today at 2pm at St. Bernard's Catholic Primary School. It is a Mass of deep gratitude and thanks, to members of the school staff who are leaving us and moving on to pastures new...
• EVERY LITTLE HELPS - SUMMER HOLIDAY ('kids eat free')
  Every little helps and it's all about MAKING a DIFFERENCE to the lives of our families (and other families in the local/wider region). Check out this organisation because they are all about 'bagging you a bargain'
• WOODWIND & GUITAR CONCERT - Wednesday 10th July - 1pm
  There is a short music concert scheduled for Wednesday 10th July 2024. The concert will feature the guitar electives and the year 4 woodwind children. Year 5B (Mr. Breslin's) musicians will also be performing. The concert is due to start at 1pm.
• YEAR 6 & YEAR 4 SWIMMING - portable swimming pool
  Yes, the magnificent portable olympic swimming pool has arrived and is safely erected on the school site. Our Year 4 and Year 6 children take the plunge this week and all details have been sent out by the respective staff coaches.

• AMAZING FOOTBALL PROJECT DESIGNS & CREATIONS 2024
  Mr. Football Foley and Mr. Football Breslin could not believe the scale of the projects that were brought into school. We had 75 football projects handed in. AMAZING! They were all displayed throughout the school day.
