  Our PTA crew are on the look out for any UNWANTED SCHOOL UNIFORM. They are looking at holding a UNIFORM SALE EVENT on Thursday morning at 8.30am in the upper school hall. A good opportunity to GRAB a bargain.

• Y6 FINAL REMINDERS - important last week - IMPORTANT REMINDERS
  This letter has been handed to all the Y6 children...they will soon be moving to NEW HORIZONS and no doubt, there will be a few tears at the end of this school week! Mrs. O'Brien, Mr. Breslin and Mrs. Byrne all want you to know...

  Mrs. Price leaves us at the end of the final school week. She has served the Main Reception Office and St. Bernard's Catholic Primary School for many years.
• BOUNCY CASTLE in SCHOOL - £1 for a go on the BRILLIANT BOUNCY CASTLE
  The BIG PTA BOUNCY CASTLE turns up in school tomorrow and the children are invited to bring in a donation of £1. They can bounce, bounce, bounce, boing, boing, boing...
• WOW! WELL DONE and a BIG THANK YOU PTA
  The SUMMER FETE SUNSHINE SHONE DOWN heavily on St. Bernard's today...SUMMER FETE SUCCESS (despite the weather's best efforts to rain, rain, rain, drizzle, drizzle, drizzle!).
• SPLAT the TEACHER ATTACK! Now takes place in school on Monday/Tuesday
  The outside SPLAT the TEACHER zone has had to be rescheduled for Monday/Tuesday (due to the dreadful weather!). Apologies for that but it's just too wet, wet, wet outside for children to be lining up and queuing.
• BOUNCY CASTLE has BOUNCED off (due to the weather!)
  The SUMMER FETE EXTRAVAGANZA 'BOUNCY CASTLE' zone will obviously not take place outside because of the weather. Too risky I'm afraid, but...
• 'ADIEU, ADIEU, PARTING IS SUCH SWEET SORROW'
  4680 days! WOW! That's pretty amazing really! Mrs. Kendrick has worked at St. Bernard's Catholic Family School for 4680 days (195 school days a year for 24 years!). Incredible really!
