  Ash Wednesday is the beginning of Lent. Lent is a 40-day period of fasting and repentance for our Catholic faith.

• NO FRIDAY BOARD CLUB today (after school)
  The amazing FRIDAY BOARD GAMES club DOES NOT take place today (children have been told). Please pick your child up at the usual end of school day time.
• WORLD BOOK DAY roaring FUN 2023! ANIMALTASTIC!
  This year’s World Book Day takes place on Thursday 2nd March. We have decided to take a cross-curricular approach and have chosen to study a high quality SCIENCE text throughout the school.

• SCHOOL BREAKS UP - half term break (see you on Monday 27th February)
  Thank you for your ongoing support, partnership and challenge. The holiday break is upon us.
• BE CAREFUL PLEASE - WAKE GREEN ROAD
  Please be very (very) careful along the WAKE GREEN ROAD crossing area. It is certainly not ideal and we have made our concerns known to the development company. The positioning of the temporary crossing zone actually poses a hazard.
• YEAR 3 & YEAR 4 FILM NIGHT EXTRAVAGANZA (Thursday 16th February)
  It's the PTA FILM NIGHT EVENT (part 2)...it takes place straight after school today. REMINDER, you will need to pick your child up at 5.15pm from the usual KS2 playground zone.
• WHITEMOOR LAKES - final numbers being sent to WHITEMOOR
  FINAL INFORMATION goes out to the children today (YEAR 5 RESIDENTIAL). WHITEMOOR LAKES admin require final numbers and all the final details...this information is being sent to WHITEMOOR LAKES TOMORROW. Please make sure you pay on PARENT PAY.
• TEMPORARY TRAFFIC LIGHTS - long delays expected on WAKE GREEN RD and BEYOND
  Please plan ahead and make sure you park further away from the school premises, and walk your child safely to St. Bernard's. The temporary traffic lights (4-way control) are now in place and delays are fully expected. Daily travel disruption.
