      Not long to go before the start of another exciting academic year at St. Bernard's Catholic Primary School.

      Our wonderful Y6 children had a special morning at a PRIVATE SCREENING event at the local cinema complex in Solihull - MINIONS, THE RISE OF GRU ADVENTURE. They really had the good old-fashioned VIP treatment this morning.

      From all the staff and Governing Body of St. Bernard's Catholic Primary School, a BIG thank you to all the parents and children for what's been a memorable year of different educational successes, challenges and changes (with a little fun thrown in!).

      Just wanted to take this opportunity for your wonderful support and understanding regards the recent HOT WEATHER ALERT and the operational changes we put in place.
    • NOTE - TUESDAY AFTERNOON BRASS CONCERT cancelled
      There was a CONCERT due to take place this afternoon at 2pm but this has been CANCELLED. BRASS MUSIC concert will NOT TAKE PLACE today - we have reviewed or school risk assessments today and made this decision.
    • Y1 NEWS - DON'T FORGET
      Y1 staff are requesting that your child brings in a suitably sized plastic bag carrier tomorrow, this is so exercise books can be taken home.
    • Y6 LEAVING CELEBRATION - WEDNESDAY at 1.30pm
      The FINAL Y6 LEAVING ASSEMBLY (FAREWELL and ADIEU to Y6...) takes place at 1.30pm on WEDNESDAY 20th JULY. This is for parents of Y6 children please.
    • FINAL FEW DAYS - be prepared

      CHECK OUT THESE TERM DATES and BE PREPARED. Dates are READILY AVAILABLE on the busy St. Bernard's school website and also on the Birmingham Authority site.

      Preparation for TUESDAY - again, you can pick your child up from designated areas (we've tried to take on board issues brought to our attention today because parents had to wait). There will be 2 PICK UP POINTS for TUESDAY's arrangements (12.45pm to 1pm).
