      WOW! It will soon be here...the WONDERFUL WHITEMOOR RESIDENTIAL for Year 5. LET THE ADVENTURE COMMENCE. Parents should be receiving another KIT LIST reminder and a copy of the delicious WHITEMOR MENU.
    • REMINDER - NO NUT PRODUCTS PLEASE
      Another reminder about 'NO NUT PRODUCTS' n school please. We have several children on the school site who do have life threatening allergies. Every little helps when it comes to safeguarding these children when they are in school.
    • YEAR 4M - CLASS ASSEMBLY - TODAY
      GOOD LUCK to all our Year 4M SUPERSTARS! Their class assembly takes place this morning in the school hall and they are sooooooo very EXCITED!
    • MULTI-FAITH FOCUS in SCHOOL
      So much going on in St. Bernard's busy school this week with various trips organised to different places of worship. It's all about respect for God's wonderful world and knowledge of religions - it's MULTI-FAITH week in school.

      Desperately tragic and sad news in the local headlines this morning after the death of a 12-year-old child. The incident happened 'on or near' Scribers Lane, Hall Green. Police have arrested another child.

      Every little helps! It's what's out there that counts. If you know someone who needs a little extra support (possibly with baby items, baby clothes etc.), signpost them to this caring & local organisation.
    • IMPORTANT HEALTH & SAFETY UPDATE - SCHOOL HEATING ISSUES
      Parents, please read the following information carefully because it concerns ongoing 'technical heating issues' that you need to be made aware of.
    • SCHOOL HEATING ISSUES - SCHOOL OPEN on TUESDAY
      Just to pass on our thanks for your patience and understanding parents. The vast majority of children were picked up early today because the heating system had broken down in school.

    • FRIDAY MORNING REGISTRATION this week - YEAR 5 children and their SIBLINGS
      Year 5 are obviously going to have a late...late...late...night tonight. Tomorrow morning, FRIDAY 17th January, for school registration, they can (and their siblings also) get into school a touch later if parents opt for this.
