• CLASS PHOTOGRAPHS - Monday 10th February 2025
  On Monday 10th February 2025 we will be having CLASS PHOTOGRAPHS taken from Reception up to Year 6. Please make sure your child is in their usual SMART SCHOOL UNIFORM ATTIRE.
• FIRE DRILL in SCHOOL TODAY - WELL DONE CHILDREN
  A BIG well done to the children today because as part of our safeguarding agenda in school, we had a termly FIRE DRILL. It's about safety and wellbeing of all children and adults on the school site. An unannounced FIRE DRILL.
• PARENT CONSULTATION coming SOON (to a school near you!)
  The simple message is...GET SIGNED UP! Every child should have a meeting. IT'S PARENT CONSULTATION and a time to FIND OUT ABOUT YOUR CHILD'S WORK & PROGRESS. It's about working in partnership...
• MENTAL HEALTH & ONLINE SAFETY
  Your child's ONLINE WORLD...know what's going on. How long do they spend ONLINE? What games are they accessing? Do they tell you what they are playing? How long do they spend on social media? Can they PHONE FAST?
• WEATHER on the HORIZON (check out the MET OFFICE forecast)
  Looking ahead to the weekend and next week...there may well be some 'fluttering snowflakes' around! Just keep an eye on the weather alerts because Y5 are WHITEMOOR LAKES bound on Wednesday 12th February (school residential).
• WOW Y5B - WHAT AN ASSEMBLY! WHAT A POWERFUL MESSAGE!
  Year 5B presented a most wonderful and memorable class assembly earlier today...all about the theme of LOVE. If you were there, you MUST have been be SO PROUD of your child.
• SAFER INTERNET DAY 2025 - 11th February
  TOP TIPS for parents because SAFER INTERNET DAY is happening soon. It's about equipping parents regarding safeguarding measures when navigating the ONLINE WORLD. All from the UK SAFER INTERNET ORGANISATION.
• OUR AMAZING PTA VOLUNTEERS (making that difference again!)
  A BIG thank you to our team of parent PTA VOLUNTEERS. They do so much seen (and unseen) work in their own time. All for the benefit of children throughout St. Bernard's Catholic Primary School. Making a difference to your child in school!
• LOOKING AHEAD...next week and beyond (into spring 2, 2025
  Please note that the school term for spring 1 ends on Friday 14th February 2025. Children will break up at the usual end of school day timings. The start of spring term 2, 2025 commences on MONDAY 24th February 2025.
